Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots have taken part in a hat exchange of sorts.

Bills and Patriots fans are getting ready for Sunday's game by messing with the other team's fan base.

Less than one week ago, the Buffalo Bills unveiled a statue of Ralph Wilson in Founder's Plaza. The statue shows Wilson standing and smiling and Bills fans have enjoyed getting their picture taken with the statue. It turns out that a New England Patriots fan has also enjoyed the opportunity to take a picture of the statue... with a Patriots hat atop its head.

Daniel Burke, a writer for Buffalo Football Report, captured a screen shot of the original tweet that shows a Patriots hat on top of Wilson's head:

The original tweet has since been deleted. However, a Bills fan in Boston retaliated by placing a Bills hat atop a statue of Sam Adams.

While some fans were very upset about a Patriots hat being placed on top of Wilson's statue, it probably won't be the last time it happens. At the end of the day, life is too short to get upset about a harmless joke.
