The Buffalo Bills crowd fell short of the Guinness World Record of loudest NFL stadium.

It was a good effort, but Bills fans fell short of the record.

The Buffalo Bills crowd at Ralph Wilson Stadium fell short in their attempt to become the loudest stadium in the NFL. Arrowhead Stadium continues to hold the record with 142.2 decibels.

On Sunday, Bills fans weren't able to get higher than 124.8 decibels.

A Bills fan, Brandon "Grippy" Gibson, raised over $8,000 on a GoFundMe page to bring the Guinness World Records into Buffalo for the game against the New England Patriots. Unfortunately, Bills fans quieted down early in the game after falling behind 21-7. By the time the team made a late comeback attempt, many fans in attendance had left.

It was a good effort, Bills fans.
