Bills safety Aaron Williams was released from the hospital on Sunday afternoon

The Bills received some good news on Sunday night.

Buffalo Bills safety Aaron Williams suffered a scary injury on Sunday afternoon. Late in the third quarter, Williams attempted to tackle New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman on his way into the end zone. As Edelman dove in, Williams' head landed on the receiver's back before hitting the ground. The safety needed to be placed on a stretcher and he was taken away in an ambulance.

The injury looked very serious but the Bills received some terrific news about the safety. First, Williams' father shared that Aaron had full movement in his extremities:


The Bills later added that Williams was released from the hospital.


It's great to hear that Williams' injury wasn't as serious as it appeared.
