The Buffalo Bills placed WR Marquise Goodwin on the IR on Tuesday.

Marquise Goodwin's season is over.

The Buffalo Bills placed wide receiver Marquise Goodwin on the injured reserve on Tuesday.

Goodwin has dealt with quite a few injuries since Buffalo drafted him in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft. In three seasons, Goodwin has played in 24 total games. His best season came in his rookie year when he recorded 17 receptions for 283 yards and three touchdowns. Last season, Goodwin missed six games and only recorded one catch for 42 yards.

In his first year with Rex Ryan, Goodwin seemed excited to be involved in the offense in the offseason. He doubled his reception total from 2014 in two games by catching two passes for 24 yards.

No one can question Goodwin's world class speed, but the receiver cannot stay healthy in the NFL. Goodwin stands in at 5'9" and 179 pounds. He's under contract with the Bills for one more season, but the team may be better off using his roster spot on someone more durable in 2016.

With an available roster spot, the Bills officially signed OT Jordan Mills.
