The Buffalo Bills have ruled out Sammy Watkins for this Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Bills wide receiver group will be thin on Sunday.

Wide receiver Sammy Watkins has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Buffalo Bills receiver injured his ankle in Sunday's loss to the Bengals and was seen in a walking boot in London. The loss of Watkins leaves the Bills very thin at receiver entering Sunday's game.

Percy Harvin did not make the trip to London for personal reasons and Marquise Goodwin was placed on the injured reserve earlier in the week. This leaves Buffalo with Robert WoodsChris Hogan, Denarius Moore and possibly Marcus Easley (limited in practice for two consecutive days). Needless to say, it's not an ideal situation for the Bills.

Dezmin Lewis, a draft pick of the Bills in 2015 and current member of the team's practice squad, did travel with the team. It wouldn't be a major surprise to see Lewis activated to the 53-man roster before Sunday's game. He knows the playbook and could see time on the field due to the number of injuries the team has suffered at the position.
