The Buffalo Bills may be re-signing Jordan Gay.

Gay was spotted in London at the team hotel

Are the Buffalo Bills re-signing kickoff specialist Jordan Gay? It appears that may be the case. Joe Buscaglia of WKBW-TV in Buffalo spotted the former kickoff specialist at the Bills hotel at The Grove. Shortly thereafter, Bills General Manager Doug Whaley said that Gay could be re-signed to the roster this week when meeting with the Bills media.

Gay was released on October 7, along with return man Marcus Thigpen, so the team could add Denarius Moore and kicker Billy Cundiff. The latter was signed in case Dan Carpenter continued to struggle with his kicking duties. During his stint with Buffalo, Cundiff handled kickoff duties but did not do a very good job. Cundiff was released on October 13.

Last week, Carpenter handled kickoff duties but wasn't as effective as Gay. The Bengals had four kickoff returns last Sunday, one of which went for 49 yards. It's very possible that the Bills realized the importance of Gay's role after seeing Cundiff and Carpenter struggle in his role.
