Following Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Rex Ryan stated that the team had a headset issue that made communication between the coaches and EJ Manuel difficult. According to a report from Pro Football Talk, the Buffalo Bills were to blame for the issue.
Apparently, the Bills weren't using full charged batteries on Sunday and eventually the batteries died on the team. In his report, Mike Florio added that he was told that checking batteries is part of the team's responsibility. Supposedly, there were no further communication issues once the Bills changed the batteries in their communications system. The report seems so ridiculous, yet perfectly describes how the Bills season is going heading into their bye week.
Add BatteryGate to the list of things that have gone wrong for the Bills in their first seven games. The team now has two weeks to stock up on new batteries for their final nine games.
