It was a bad day for EJ Manuel. There's no other way to say it. The quarterback gave up 14 points to the Jacksonville Jaguars in seven seconds on Sunday and then threw a second interception that led to another Jacksonville touchdown. Twenty of Jacksonville's 34 points fell on Manuel's shoulders.
The quarterback did all that he could to lead the Bills back and at one point, the Bills did reclaim the lead. However, it wasn't enough and the Buffalo Bills moved to 3-4 on the season. On his way to the locker room, Manuel looked very discouraged but he was stopped by Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly who offered Manuel some support.
While we're unclear of everything that was said, it appears that Kelly ended his brief conversation by saying 'good job' and patting Manuel on the head. It was a wonderful gesture by Kelly to try and lift Manuel's spirits postgame.
