The Buffalo Bills hoped that their bye week would give their injured players time to heal. It's unknown how many of Buffalo's injured players will return after their bye week, but it appears that right tackle Seantrel Henderson is ready to return to action in Week 9. Henderson said the following on Twitter on Sunday.
Henderson exited Buffalo's Week 6 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals with a concussion and missed the team's Week 7 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now, it appears that Henderson has passed every test given to him in the concussion protocol.
Henderson started at right tackle for the first six weeks of the season for Buffalo. He's struggled in pass protection this season, allowing seven hurries and three quarterback hits. In his place, Buffalo has started former second round pick Cyrus Kouandjio. Much like Henderson, Kouandjio has struggled in pass protection in his limited starting time.
Hopefully, Henderson is the first of many Bills players who will return from injury in Week 9.
