The Buffalo Bills signed RB Mike Gillislee to their practice squad on Wednesday.

The Buffalo Bills added Mike Gillislee to their practice squad on Wednesday.

The Buffalo Bills worked out running back Mike Gillislee earlier this week and the team was impressed enough by the back to add him to their practice squad. Buffalo opened a roster spot on their practice squad yesterday when they released Miguel Maysonet.

Gillislee was a fifth round draft pick of the Miami Dolphins in the 2013 NFL draft. Gillislee played his college ball with the Florida Gators. In his senior season (2012) with the Gators, Gillislee became the first Florida running back to rush for over 1,000 yards since the 2004 season.

In his NFL career, Gillislee has six carries for 21 yards. Gillislee spent the beginning of the 2015 season on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad before being released on October 22.
