The Buffalo Bills have placed wide receiver Percy Harvin on the injured reserve following a knee injury. Harvin had been dealing with hip problems all season but a knee injury occurred this week. Yesterday, GM Doug Whaley noted that the flare up in Harvin's knee could effectively end his season.
Harvin finishes the year with 19 receptions, 218 yards and a touchdown. He also had five kick returns for 108 yards.
With a roster spot open, the Bills were able to activate Leodis McKelvin. The cornerback is returning from a broken fibula that was suffered on November 13, 2014. McKelvin will have to settle for a job as the team's top reserve cornerback due to the outstanding play of Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby. In addition to playing cornerback, McKelvin could also handle kick and punt return duties.null
