Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets Halftime Thoughts

If you love ugly offensive football, this game is for you!

It's Christmas in November for fans who love defensive football (Which is fitting as the Buffalo Bills and NY Jets are dressed like holiday wrapping paper).

At the end of the first half, the Bills find themselves up 12-3. On offense, LeSean McCoy has looked great for the Bills. At halftime, McCoy has 63 yards rushing on eight carries. The rest of the offense hasn't fared as well. Tyrod Taylor has faced pressure the entire half and has 59 yards passing at the half.

Defensively, the first half has been a dominant performance by the Bills. Corey Graham registered an interception and Marcell Dareus added a sack. Chris Ivory has been held to 23 yards rushing and Ryan Fitzpatrick has thrown for 90 yards on 5-of-17 passing.

Buffalo's only touchdown came on special teams. Bacarri Rambo jarred a ball out from Devin Smith's hands and Duke Williams recovered the ball for the touchdown. Dan Carpenter couldn't convert on the extra point, but he has made both field goal attempts tonight.

While the game has been painful to watch at times, Bills fans should be happy to have a nine point lead at the half. Buffalo will receive the ball to start the third quarter.
