Thunder and rain highlight Bills' Training Camp

Mother nature provided the rain but Bills head coach Gregg Williams provided the thunder as practices started at St John Fisher College in Pittsford, NY.

[PREMIUM] Williams appeared to become angered with the media's constant questioning of his status due to him working on his final year of his contract meanwhile all of his assistant coaches have at least one additional year that he does not. He aggressively told the media that he didn't want to discuss the issue anymore and would not throughout the remainder of camp.

Meanwhile, the rains came down during the morning practice. One player who was really tested with the weather was newcomer Marcus Jones, who practiced for the first time since joining the team. Jones commented that "it was a real test" of his surgically repaired knee because of the weather he wasn't sure whether or not he'd slip or not. Jones has been penciled in as the starter at Left Defensive End to replace Chidi Ahanotu. Though he could handle some stiff competition from youngsters Ryan Denney and Chris Kelsay. More on that in a later article.

Although veterans aren't officially required to report until Saturday, July 27 many were seen on hand DBs Coy Wire, Tony Driver, Scott Turner and Kevin Thomas. Rookie Terrence McGee was also seen doing traditional drills.

All four QBs were seen on hand but Travis Brown, who the team seems to be looking to show whether or not will be the QB of the future, got most of the drills.

A special note for those attending Camp tomorrow, the special teams will be highlighted in the autograph session as Long Snapper Jon Dorenbos, Punter Brian Moorman and Kickers Rian Lindell and Jason Witczak are scheduled to be at the McDonald's Autograph Zone tomorrow after the morning practice.[/PREMIUM]
