The NFL is a funny business. Back in October, the Buffalo Bills released Marcus Thigpen and signed Denarius Moore to spark their return game. Now, in late November, the Bills have decided that Thigpen is needed to help with the return game.
It's not surprise. Moore has been ineffective for Buffalo and Leodis McKelvin did not fare well on punt returns last week. Look for Thigpen to handle return duties on Sunday against the Chiefs.
In addition to signing Thigpen, the Bills also signed offensive guard Ryan Groy. Groy was most recently on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad. The offensive guard was signed as an undrafted free agent last year by the Bears and started in three games. He has some familiarity with Aaron Kromer based on his time with the Bears. John Miller has already been ruled out for Sunday's game so Groy could see some snaps behind Kraig Urbik.
To make room for Thigpen and Groy, the Bills released Denarius Moore and Dan "Boom" Herron.
