The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs will face-off in a crucial game on Sunday. Both teams sit at 5-5 and the victor will have a head-to-head win over the other with just five games remaining. Whichever team picks up the win will be in the driver’s seat when it comes to picking up one of the two Wild Card spots.
Unfortunately for the Bills, the team will be without a few of their starters on Sunday. Here’s a look at each team’s injury report and game statuses for Sunday’s game.
Easley, Buffalo’s best special teams player, will be out for Sunday’s game with a concussion that he suffered on Monday night. John Miller will be out as well on Sunday. The team’s starting right guard suffered an ankle injury against the Patriots but it’s believed that he won’t miss too much time. Kyle Williams will miss another game due to his knee injury and Rex Ryan stated earlier today that Kyle Williams is likely headed to the injured reserve. Last, Mario Williams will be out on Sunday with a foot injury. Ryan noted that Williams could miss the chance to face the Texans, his former team, next week as well.
The good news for the Bills is that the team will have Marcell Dareus and Tyrod Taylor against the Chiefs. Both players will be depended upon to help the Bills end Kansas City’s four game win streak. Rambo will also be ready to go on Sunday.
The Chiefs don’t seem to have as many significant injuries but two big names are questionable for Kansas City. Tight end Travis Kelce tweaked his ankle at practice on Friday and is currently listed as questionable. Kelce has been one of the most productive TEs in the NFL so if he cannot go, it’d be a huge blow for the Chiefs. Charcandrick West is also questionable with a hamstring injury. If West cannot go, the Chiefs will likely start Spencer Ware.
