Buffalo Bills Week 13 Power Rankings

The Buffalo Bills are tumbling down in power rankings after their loss to the Chiefs.

Time is running out on a Buffalo Bills playoff run. At this point, Buffalo needs to run the table to have a realistic chance to make the playoffs this season. It’s unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

Following a tough 30-22 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, here is where some media outlets have the Bills in their respective power rankings.

What happened to the pass rush? Last season, the Bills averaged 3.4 sacks per game. They haven't recorded a single three-sack game this season. What happened to the pass rush? Last season, the Bills averaged 3.4 sacks per game. They haven't recorded a single three-sack game this season.

Up and down, up and down It's that way for Rex Ryan's teams every year. This one is no different.

Rex Ryan was supposed to be inheriting the most talented defense he’s ever coached, but Buffalo’s defense certainly hasn’t played like it in 2015. The Bills have allowed 30-or-more points in three of their five losses this season.

So close for Tyrod Taylor on that fourth-down run that ended the Bills' final possession. Buffalo's grasp of the wild card has slid right through the proverbial fingers the last two weeks -- with losses to the Patriots and Chiefs -- because the offense can't put together a drive at the end of the game. While Taylor put up another nice statistical outing (106.4 passer rating), the Bills aren't scoring enough points to compensate for a defense that gives 'em up. Not sure any member of the Bills Mafia thought the latter side of the ball would be such a leaky roof. Where have you gone, Fred Smerlas?

Buffalo’s season comes down to Sunday’s game against the Texans. If Buffalo wins, they live on for another day. One more loss, especially to an AFC team, would be the final nail in the coffin for the Bills.
