A.J. Tarpley added to Bills practice squad

Buffalo added A.J. Tarpley to their practice squad on Wednesday.

The Buffalo Bills released A.J. Tarpley from their 53-man roster on Monday following a poor performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. That said, the team isn't giving up on developing Tarpley at linebacker.

On Wednesday, the team announced that they had added Tarpley to their practice squad. Buffalo originally signed Tarpley as an undrafted free agent following the 2015 NFL draft. Tarpley played his college ball at Stanford. During his four years at Stanford, Tarpley recorded 242 combined tackles, 17.5 of which were tackles for a loss, five sacks, four interceptions, nine passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 54 games.

This season, Tarpley has two tackles and one sack in 11 games with the Bills.
