Temperatures Rise on Day Two of Training Camp

Day Two of Bills Training Camp brought better weather than Day One. On the other hand there also was a rise in the tempers of the players and coaching staff as well.

[PREMIUM]Early into Day two of Bills' Training Camp 2003 at St. John Fisher College a small tussle broke out between starting LT Jonas Jennings, and reserve DE Grant Irons during full contact drills. Bills coaches had to physically break the two apart, infact things got so heated Offensive Co-ordinator Kevin Gilbride and Defensive Co-ordinator Jerry Gray even exchanged words at one point. The two players verbally made up at the end of the day.

The clashes could have been in part because today was the first day in full-pads and full-contact for that matter.

Sitting out of today's practice were undrafted rookie safety Jerton Evans, who's arm was in a sling from a shoulder injury, cornerback Ahmad Brooks, who was out of pads due to cramps in his legs; and second year lineman Mike Pucillo left practice early with a tweaked shoulder.

Backup Kicker Jason Witczak took an unorthodox way of warming up by punting the football and then attempted his field goals.

A special note for those attending Camp tomorrow there will only be a morning practice like there was today. All veteran players are due to arrive at camp later in the day tomorrow. The Quarterbacks will be highlighted in the autograph session as Bills QB's Drew Bledsoe, Alex Van Pelt, Travis Brown and Jason Johnson are scheduled to be at the McDonald's Autograph Zone tomorrow after practice.[/PREMIUM]
