Buffalo Bills DC Dennis Thurman called the referees a disgrace to the NFL postgame

Dennis Thurman called the referees a disgrace to the NFL after Sunday's loss.

Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman was angry following Buffalo's 23-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and he had good reason. Philadelphia got away with a blatant pick play that resulted in a 41-yard gain for Zach Ertz.

Receiver Josh Huff picked Corey Graham on the play to spring Ertz open. It was an obvious pick play that went uncalled. A few plays after the pick, the Eagles kicked the game-winning field goal.

After the game, Thurman and the Bills coaching staff headed into the tunnel with the NFL referees and the defensive coordinator didn't hold back his feelings. He screamed at the officials, "You're a disgrace to the NFL." Video of Thurman doing so was captured by Joe Buscaglia of WKBW-TV.

Thurman will likely hear from the league for his outburst at the referees but he has the right to be frustrated. Before that pick play, Thurman's defense had held the Eagles to three second-half points.

The referees certainly don't deserve all of the blame for Buffalo's loss on Sunday but it's understandable why Thurman vented his frustrations aloud to the referees.
