The Buffalo Bills promoted Walter Powell to their 53-man roster and placed Zac Dysert to the practice squad

The Buffalo Bills plan to promote WR Walter Powell from their practice squad

On Monday, Rex Ryan stated that wide receiver Dezmin Lewis could get promoted to the 53-man roster. A wide receiver is reportedly being added to the Buffalo Bills roster, but it's not Lewis. According to Aaron Wilson of Houston Chronicle, WR Walter Powell is getting promoted to the 53-man roster.

Powell played his college ball at Murray State and was a sixth round draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2014. In addition to the Cardinals, Powell has also spent time with the NY Jets and Oakland Raiders. Oakland signed Powell off of Buffalo's practice squad back in October but waived the receiver and kickoff specialist on November 3. Three days later, Buffalo brought Powell back to their practice squad.

In addition to promoting Powell, the Bills also signed QB Zac Dysert to their practice squad.
