Buffalo Bills Week 16 Power Rankings

The Bills actually went up one spot on one power rankings list.

The Buffalo Bills have two games remaining but their season is over. For the 16th consecutive season, the Bills won’t be appearing in the playoffs. After losing in a one-sided affair to the Washington Redskins, here’s a look at where the Bills stand on various power rankings.

New Ranking

Previous Ranking

The Bills were eliminated from the playoffs with their loss to the Redskins. That extends their playoff drought to 16 straight seasons, the longest active streak in the NFL.

The hype that came with the hiring of Rex Ryan has subsided. Can they even get to .500?

Fox Sports

A late rally spurred by the Tyrod Taylor and Sammy Watkins connection (two touchdowns) wasn’t enough to save a defense that has fallen apart under supposed guru Rex Ryan. You’d be hard-pressed to find a defense with as much talent that has struggled like the Bills have in 2015.

The season is essentially over in Buffalo, as the Bills have been eliminated from the playoffs. All Rex Ryan's bunch can hope to do at this point is play spoiler against the Cowboys and Jets. Dallas has, of course, also been eliminated from playoff contention, but Buffalo can still set an unofficial record of ruining a fourth Cowboys quarterback's season. As for the Jets, Rex would like nothing more than to prevent his former team from securing that sixth playoff spot come Week 17. As we said on "NFL GameDay Blitz" on Sunday, how unusual it is that Ryan made the correct decision at quarterback -- and yet, Buffalo will go .500 at best.
