Marcus Easley suffered a 'major' knee injury against the Cowboys

Easley will be placed on the injured reserve.

Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan met with the media on Monday and revealed that Marcus Easley suffered a 'major' knee injury.

As Chris Brown of the Bills noted, Easley dislocated his knee cap and broke his knee in three spots. The injury occurred on a Cowboys kick return in the second quarter.

Easley, a fourth round pick of the Bills in 2010, has had trouble staying on the field throughout his NFL career with Buffalo. Although Easley has never developed into a receiving threat as Buffalo had hoped, he has become one of the best special teams players in the league.

Hopefully Easley recovers from the knee injury is ready to play in 2016 for the Bills.
