The Buffalo Bills are promoting 2 CBs to their roster and hope Ronald Darby can play.

The Bills are promoting two CBs to their 53-man roster for Sunday's game

The Buffalo Bills are shorthanded at cornerback. Their No. 1 cornerback, Stephon Gilmore, was placed on the injured reserve earlier in the month. Reserve cornerback Ron Brooks was also added to the IR yesterday.

To make up for their limited numbers at cornerback, the Bills are promoting two CBs from their practice squad: Merrill Noel and Sammy Seamster

The duo could actually see playing time on Sunday. As it stands, Buffalo may only have three other cornerbacks ahead of them on Sunday: Leodis McKelvinMario Butler and Nickell Robey. Bills head coach Rex Ryan is hopeful that rookie Ronald Darby can play on Sunday against the NY Jets.

Darby is currently dealing with a groin injury. If Darby is unable to play for Buffalo, the Jets could have plenty of success passing against Buffalo. In a must-win game for New York, the Jets will certainly target Buffalo's banged up secondary.
