Karlos Williams can't help the Buffalo Bills make the Super Bowl this season, but he can do a major favor for his brother Vince Williams. Vince, a linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has offered his brother Super Bowl tickets if the Bills can defeat the NY Jets on Sunday. The Steelers need the Jets to lose to have any chance of making the playoffs this season after losing last week to the Baltimore Ravens.
Vince told Chris Bradford of the Beaver County Times about his conversation with Karlos.
"I was like, 'Man, look, we're trying to go to the Super Bowl, bro," Vince told Bradford. I told him I'd get him a ticket. I told him, 'You could go to the Super Bowl. It's not like ya'll are going to be going."
The last comment was a bit harsh, although true. Luckily for Vince, Karlos Williams will see a significant role on Sunday. The rookie running back is expected to start for the Bills on Sunday at running back with LeSean McCoy out of action. This season, Karlos Williams has rushed for 493 yards and six touchdowns on 87 carries. He's also added 93 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions.
In their last matchup against the Jets, Williams gained 24 yards on seven carries, as well as 26 yards on a touchdown reception.
Buffalo will be motivated to keep their division rival out of the playoffs, but Karlos Williams will have some extra motivation on Sunday.
