Sammy Watkins went over 100 yards receiving versus the NY Jets in the third quarter on Sunday. This is the fifth time the Buffalo Bills receiver went over 100 yards this season. It turns out that this was the first time a Bills receiver has accomplished this feat since 2002.
In addition to his fifth game of 100 yards receiving or more, Watkins also went over 1,000 yards receiving for the season. Considering the injuries and lack of targets that Watkins saw early in the season, it's impressive that he reached this total.
Hopefully this is the first of many 1,000 yard seasons for Watkins with the Bills.
