Rob Ryan has joined the Buffalo Bills as the Assistant head coach/Defense

One Ryan isn't enough in Buffalo. Rob will be joining his brother Rex as an Assistant head coach/Defense.

Buffalo Bills media will have plenty of sound bites to work with in the near future.

On Sunday night, the Bills announced that Rob Ryan would be joining his brother Rex in Buffalo as the Assistant head coach/Defense. Rex Ryan released the following statement to the Bills official website.

“I'm excited to have Rob join our staff and I think he will be a great asset for our defense. He has a tremendous working knowledge of our schemes and I look forward to his input,” said Head Coach Rex Ryan. “On a personal note, it's been a number of years since we have worked together and so we are both really looking forward to this opportunity.”

Rob visited his brother shortly after being fired by the New Orleans Saints this season but Rex Ryan simply said the two were simply spending time together. Now, the twin brothers will officially work together. The last time the duo was on the same coaching staff was from 1994-1995 with the Arizona Cardinals.
