Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor appeared on NFL GameDay on the NFL Network on Saturday to discuss his season and breakdown some playoff matchups this weekend. Shaun O'Hara, an analyst on GameDay, asked Taylor about offensive coordinator Greg Roman. Taylor had high praise about the offensive playcaller.
"Oh, it's great to play for coach Roman," Taylor said on NFL GameDay. "A brilliant coach, first and foremost. Does a great job every week of scheming."
Taylor added that Roman does a good job in both the run game and the pass game.
"He does a great job of just getting guys open and finding ways to attack defenses."
Roman did a terrific job in his first year as Bills offensive coordinator. The team finished the season 12th in points, 13th in yards and first in rush yards per game in 2015. As the season wore on, Roman opened up the passing game playbook for Buffalo and chemistry developed on the field between Taylor and Sammy Watkins.
In 2016, Roman will be expected to keep the run game at a high level and to see advances in the passing game. It's clear that the Bills starting quarterback is in his corner.null
