Rex Ryan won't be packing any Buffalo Bills sweater vests for his next trip. The Bills head coach is headed to Hawaii. According to Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News, Ryan has opted to join Tyrod Taylor, Eric Wood and Richie Incognito at the Pro Bowl rather than attend the Senior Bowl this week.
There will be plenty of talent on display at the Senior Bowl, but it's hard to blame Ryan for choosing Hawaii over Mobile, Alabama. Offensive coordinator Greg Roman and GM Doug Whaley are both in attendance in Mobile so the Bills are represented at the Senior Bowl. Also, the Senior Bowl is only a small part of the scouting process. A player's overall game tape will hold the most weight, but pro days, the combine and draft visits will also be used to evaluate prospects.
Ryan will have plenty of time to watch prospects between now and the 2016 NFL draft. This week, Ryan can get some rest and relaxation with his Pro Bowl players.null
