Buffalo Bills fans tuning into the Puppy Bowl may have been surprised to see a familiar face on Sunday. Hall of Fame defensive end Bruce Smith was in attendance. Smith was at the "big game" to discuss the importance of adult dog adoption.
In addition to discussing the importance of adult dog adoption, Smith also helped induct the inaugural Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame class. There was no five year waiting period for the dogs, but the Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame apparently doesn't have the same rules as the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Animal Planet thanked Smith for taking part in the festivities earlier in the week.
