Jets NT Damon Harrison is open to a reunion with Rex Ryan on the Buffalo Bills

Harrison is keeping all of his options open with free agency looming.

Damon Harrison is set to hit free agency in less than one month and the nose tackle is open for a reunion with Rex Ryan.

Harrison was on SiriusXM on Tuesday and the current member of the NY Jets was asked about a possible reunion with Ryan on the Buffalo Bills.

Harrison would be an intriguing addition to Buffalo's front seven. The nose tackle has been a dominant run stuffer with the Jets. This season, Harrison won Pro Football Focus' Ted Washington Award for the league's best run stuffer.

In fact, over the final eight weeks of the season, no other defensive player came close to matching Harrison in run game stops.

Harrison has been used by the Jets as a two-down defensive lineman. In obvious passing situations, Harrison has been pulled off the field. This doesn't mean that the 27-year old couldn't be a three-down defensive lineman. In fact, Harrison himself believes the best is yet to come.

If Harrison hits agency, it's possible that Ryan pursues his former player. His knowledge of Ryan's defense and his upside make him a name to watch.
