Buffalo Bills meet with WR Charone Peake

The Bills met with a Clemson player very familiar with Sammy Watkins.

The Buffalo Bills are looking for a complement to Sammy Watkins. Perhaps that complement will be Watkins' former roommate at Clemson. At the NFL combine, the Bills met with Charone Peake.

Peake is currently projected as a mid-to-late round draft pick in the 2016 draft. He's coming off of the best season on his career at Clemson. The wide receiver caught 50 passes for 716 yards and five touchdowns. Peake finished his collegiate career with 99 receptions, 1,172 yards, and 10 touchdowns. His stats may not blow you away, but the receiver suffered an ACL injury at Clemson and had to play behind the likes of Watkins and DeAndre Hopkins.

The receiver stands at 6'2" and 209 pounds. At the combine, Peake has stood out due to his long arms. His 34" arms are second among receivers at the combine and his hands were 9 1/4." The receiver also put up 12 reps in the bench press.

While Buffalo will certainly explore many options at the receiver position, Peake is one player to remember as the draft approaches.
