Antonio Cromartie expected to visit Buffalo Bills

The Bills are apparently looking for even more depth at cornerback.

The Buffalo Bills have quite a bit of talent at the cornerback position. Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby both played like lockdown cornerbacks in 2015 and Nickell Robey is a quality slot cornerback. Behind the trio, Buffalo has Leodis McKelvin, a CB open to a paycut, and Mario Butler. Despite being five deep at the position, Buffalo is apparently interested in adding free agent Antonio Cromartie.

Cromartie played under Rex Ryan from 2010-2013 with the NY Jets so the two are very familiar with one another. The cornerback will turn 32 years old in April, so Buffalo can't afford to overspend on Cromartie. Last year, Cromartie was rated 103rd out of 118 cornerbacks in 2015 by Pro Football Focus. He finished the year with 29 tackles and 12 passes defensed in 15 games.

Cromartie could serve as the top reserve outside cornerback in 2016 in Buffalo. In his career, Cromartie has 403 combined tackles, 114 passes defensed, 31 interceptions, and three defensive touchdowns.
