Leodis McKelvin said goodbye to the Bills and their fans on Friday.

Leodis McKelvin was released by the Buffalo Bills on Friday. Hours after his release, McKelvin said his goodbyes to the team and their "amazing and supportive" fans on Instagram. The picture shows McKelvin being introduced to the media alongside former owner Ralph Wilson Jr.

Here is what McKelvin had to say about his release:

I've had the honor of playing the game I love with the Buffalo Bills organization since I was drafted in 2008. It has been a pleasure to work with some of the best football professionals in the league and playing amongst the most amazing and supportive fans. I look forward to the next chapter of my football story and the opportunity to continue playing the game I am so passionate about. #onceabillalwaysabill Buffalo will always be a place I'll call home! #buffalobills #mckelvinbillievers

McKelvin will certainly draw interest in free agency from teams looking to bolster their depth at cornerback.
