Scott Hutchinson, DE, Florida (1978)
Hutchinson played his college ball with the Gators. In his senior season at Florida, Hutchinson was named a team captain. That season, Hutchinson was a first-team All-Southeastern Conference selection, as well as an Associated Press honorable mention All-American.
In Buffalo, Hutchinson’s career never took off. He started in eight games in his first three seasons with the Bills and recorded three fumble recoveries over that time according to Pro Football Reference. After three years in Buffalo, Hutchinson joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1981. In 1982, Hutchinson did not record any professional stats but he returned to the Bills in 1983 for five games.
Hutchinson finished his NFL career with 69 game appearances and eight starts according to Pro Football Reference. In 1985, Hutchinson played in the USFL with the Orlando Renegades.
