Rex Ryan spoke about the Clemson and Georgia pro days on The John Murphy Show.

Rex Ryan talked about two pro days that he recently attended on The John Murphy Show.

Rex Ryan joined John Murphy on The John Murphy Show on Wednesday night. The Buffalo Bills head coach touched upon different rule proposals, Buffalo's two newest additions, Percy Harvin, and making the rounds to various pro days.

Murphy specifically asked Ryan about his thoughts on the pro days of the Clemson Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs

"Yeah, it went well," Ryan said. "You know... obviously, we're looking at a lot of things, but specifically we're looking at some of the defensive talent. That was really where my main focus was for the trips that you mentioned, and you know it was good. Sometimes when you see them on grass, you get to visit with these kids and things And you have a pretty good idea who they are. how they can help, maybe what they need to improve on and things. And then luckily I'm familiar with a lot of coaches, you know, and so I get the real, the real inside scoop on this player and that player so sometimes that's helpful as well."

Considering Buffalo's defensive problems from one season ago, as well as the prospects available at Clemson and Georgia, it's no surprise that Ryan was focused on defensive prospects. At pick 19, Buffalo could target Shaq LawsonKevin Dodd, and Leonard Floyd to upgrade their front seven. It'd be quite a surprise, but cornerback Mackensie Alexander could also possibly be in play.
