Buffalo Bills attend Stony Brook pro day

Victor Ochi was the headliner at Stony Brook's pro day.

The Buffalo Bills were one of 15 NFL teams represented at Stony Brook's Pro Day on Monday. Nick Klopsis of Newsday Sports confirmed Buffalo as one of the teams in attendance.


Victor Ochi is one Stony Brook player that is expected to be selected in the 2016 NFL draft. The linebacker is projected to be selected as early as round four in the draft. 

On Monday, Ochi, 6'0" and 250 pounds, put up 22 reps on the bench press at the pro day.

Ochi also participated in the NFL Scouting Combine. At the combine, Ochi displayed a 119 inch broad jump, 32 inch vertical jump, and a 40-yard dash time of 4.86 seconds.

At Stony Brook, Ochi finished his career with 23.5 sacks and 50.5 tackles for loss. In 2015, Ochi played defensive end and recorded 13 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss. He finished his career as Stony Brook's all-time leader in both categories.

In the NFL, Ochi projects as a 3-4 outside linebacker.
