The Buffalo Bills were represented at South Carolina State's Pro Day on Wednesday.
The headliner at SC State is DT Javon Hargrave. In his last two seasons, Hargrave recorded 29.5 sacks and 45.5 tackles for loss. Hargrave was dominant against the competition he faced at SC State, and followed that up with strong performances at the Shrine Game and Senior Bowl. He also stood out at the NFL Scouting Combine. Here's a look at his results.
40-yard dash: 4.93 seconds
20-yard shuttle: 4.70 seconds
Broad jump: 109 inches
Vertical: 34.5 inches
Bench press: 29 reps
3 cone drill: 7.90 seconds
Hargrave pulled these numbers off at 309 pounds.
The defensive tackle is projected as a day two pick.
In addition to Hargrave, SC State also has TE Temarrick Hemingway. Hemingway is viewed as a day three pick in the draft. The tight end, 6'5" and 244 pounds, ran a 4.71 40-yard dash, 11.50 60-yard shuttle, and a 6.88 three-cone drill. Hemingway caught 38 passes for 418 yards and one touchdown in 2015.
Buffalo currently has Charles Clay, Jim Dray, Chris Gragg, and Nick O'Leary at tight end. Hemingway isn't viewed as a player who will make an immediate impact in the NFL, but he could fight for a roster spot in Buffalo.
