Four Falls of Buffalo up for Emmy

The ESPN 30 for 30 documentary is up for an Emmy.

Four Falls of Buffalo, an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary, chronicled the Buffalo Bills teams that made four consecutive Super Bowl appearances. The documentary highlighted all four Super Bowl losses that the Bills experienced, but it wasn't a documentary about a team that couldn't win it all. Instead, Four Falls of Buffalo chronicled a team that kept coming back despite suffering heartbreaking losses.

The documentary received plenty of praise after it debuted and on Thursday, it was announced that Four Falls of Buffalo is up for a Sports Emmy.

Four Falls of Buffalo was nominated for Outstanding Long Sports Documentary. It will compete against two other 30 for 30 documentaries: I Hate Christian Laettner and Of Miracles and Men. HBO's Back on Board: Greg Louganis and A&E's Happy Valley are also up for the award.

The awards will be presented on May 10. Although all five long documentaries are Emmy worth, we here at Buffalo Football Report are partial to Four Falls of Buffalo.
