Scott Chandler's NFL career may be over.

The former Bills tight end believes his career could be over.

Tight end Scott Chandler spent the 2015 season with the New England Patriots, but his most productive seasons came with the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately for Chandler, it's possible that his season with the Patriots may be the final season of his career. Chandler's wife, Alissa, posted the following on Twitter:

Chandler recently had knee surgery and the tight end said that the injury will keep him off the field in 2016. He also believes that it could finish his NFL career.

Chandler's best seasons in the NFL came with Buffalo from 2011 to 2014. During his entire tenure with the Bills, Chandler caught 182 passes for 2,120 yards, and 17 touchdowns. The tight end made 35 starts in 65 games with Buffalo. Chandler's most productive season came in 2013 when he caught 53 passes for 655 yards.

Hopefully Chandler can come back from his latest knee surgery and play somewhere in the league in 2017. That said, he may face long odds as he'll be 32 years old at the start of the 2017 season.
