The Buffalo Bills attempted to claim CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu

Buffalo attempted to add another cornerback to their ranks on Tuesday.

The Buffalo Bills have been busy signing cornerbacks. In the last two days, the team has added Corey White and Sterling Moore to their roster. It turns out that Buffalo attempted to add a third cornerback to their ranks: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu

Unfortunately for the Bills, New Orleans Saints, and Pittsburgh Steelers, the Miami Dolphins were awarded the cornerback due to having the highest priority on the waiver wire.

Ekpre-Olomu was once viewed as a first round pick in the 2015 NFL draft. That changed after he tore his ACL and dislocated his knee in December of 2014. The cornerback fell all the way to the seventh round before he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns. After one season in Cleveland, the Browns released the cornerback. Ekpre-Olomu claims that his knee is fine, but only time will tell.

It's hard to blame the Bills for attempting to sign Ekpre-Olomu. Instead of claiming the cornerback, they may have to play against him two times in 2016 and beyond.
