German wide receiver Moritz Boehringer made a name for himself at the end of March. The 6'4" and 227 pound wide receiver impressed multiple teams in attendance at his pro day. He ran a 4.43 second 40-yard dash, showed off a vertical jump of 39 inches, and recorded a 10-foot-11 inch broad jump.
Boehringer's numbers suddenly made him an intriguing draft prospect. Last year, Boehringer recorded 59 receptions for 1,232 yards and 13 touchdowns with the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns. Those are strong stats but the competition he faced in the German league has been questioned.
On Friday, Boehringer held another workout and this time the Buffalo Bills were in attendance. Buffalo, as well as every other team present, interviewed Boehringer prior to the workout according to Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net. At the workout,Boehringer ran routes at the request of teams and performed very well.
Boehringer has done a good job of impressing teams, and it's possible that the Bills or another team spends a day three pick on the receiver's potential.
