It was reported yesterday that LeSean McCoy would not face league punishment over a nightclub incident that took place in Philadelphia. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported the story through multiple sources.
One day after Rapoport's report, Adam Schefter of ESPN claimed that the NFL had not reached a decision on disciplining the Buffalo Bills running back.
It appears that there are conflicting reports as to a decision on McCoy, but Eric Wood believes there should be no punishment for his teammate and his reasoning makes plenty of sense.
The Philadelphia D.A. didn't press charges against McCoy and his friends despite the altercation involving off-duty officers. That should speak volumes to Roger Goodell and the league. On Tuesday, Wood proved that he has McCoy's back on and off the field.null
