USA TODAY Sports's 2012 Draft Do-Over gave the Bills Chandler Jones

Jones was selected over Stephon Gilmore.

Buffalo Bills starting defensive end Chandler Jones? If could do a 2012 NFL Draft Do-Over that'd apparently be the case. Chad Reuter went back through the draft and chose Jones for Buffalo. Here's what Reuter said about the defensive end landing in Buffalo.

Pick: Stephon Gilmore, CB

Do-over: Chandler Jones, DE

Jones' size and athleticism make him a solid fit in the Bills' defense, especially now that Mario Williams has moved on.

Jones has been a terrific player in his career, but it's a curious move. In four seasons, Jones has 211 career tackles, 36 career sacks, eight passes defensed, one interception, and 10 forced fumbles. He's a disruptive player on the field, but is he really a better fit in Buffalo's defense?

Gilmore has improved every year in Buffalo and deserves recognition as one of the league's best cornerbacks. The CB is coming off of a season in which he had 18 passes defensed, a career-high, in 14 games. In total, Gilmore has 178 total tackles, nine interceptions, and 50 passes defensed. Rex Ryan's defense needs great cornerback play and that's exactly what Gilmore gives the Bills.

Stunningly, Reuter had Gilmore fall all the way to the Lions at pick 23. Cordy Glenn, a second round pick in 2012, was selected 19th overall by the Bears in the do-over.
