The Buffalo Bills held their pre-draft luncheon on Wednesday. During the luncheon, Bills GM Doug Whaley told the media that he has not received any phone calls in regards to a team trying to trade for Tyrod Taylor.
Back in early April, a report out of Denver stated that Denver Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway had inquired about Taylor's status.
There's no reason for Whaley to lie about receiving calls in regards to Taylor, so it's very likely that the Broncos did not inquire about the quarterback. Before joining the Bills, Taylor was offered a more lucrative deal to join the Broncos. His former offensive coordinator, Gary Kubiak, had hoped to bring Taylor into the fold to backup Peyton Manning in 2015.null
