No surgery needed for Shaq Lawson.

Lawson refuted Adam Schefter's report.

After being selected by the Buffalo Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN claimed that the former Clemson product would need shoulder surgery. The newest Buffalo Bills player stated that this isn't the case. Via BuffaloBills.com:

Lawson stated, “No, there is no truth to Adam Schefter’s report. The report about me having surgery I don’t know where that comes from. I guess he just wanted to put something out there. If I didn’t have surgery my freshman year why would I need surgery now? I can still play ball.”

“I never had surgery on it,” said Lawson. “I don’t know why it is coming up in question I am ready to play football. Having surgery is not in my question right now.”

It should be noted that the Bills team website stated that their medical staff had cleared Lawson.
