The Buffalo Bills have released Jarius Wynn, Ronald Patrick, and Bud Noel

The Bills released three players on Monday.

The Buffalo Bills have released OLB Jarius Wynn, C Ronald Patrick, and CB Merrill 'Bud' Noel. The latter two names don't come as much of a surprise. During free agency, Buffalo added center Fernando Velasco and cornerbacks Sterling MooreCorey WhiteJavier Arenas in free agency and the Bills recently drafted another cornerback in Kevon Seymour.

Wynn is the only moderate surprise on the list. He was recently on The John Murphy Show where he mentioned that the coaching staff asked him to play outside linebacker.

Wynn said the following at the time, "They got me playing a little bit of outside linebacker now. It's totally different." He went on to add that he had already lost about 20 pounds and was down to 265 pounds at the time of the call.

Wynn is best suited along the defensive line, so his release may be a blessing in disguise. He'll be able to add weight back to his frame and look for a team in need of defensive line depth.
