Andre Roberts and Jamari Lattimore concluded their free agent visits with the Buffalo Bills.

Both free agent visitors left Buffalo on Friday.

The Buffalo Bills hosted wide receiver Andre Roberts and linebacker Jamari Lattimore on free agent visits from Thursday night to Friday afternoon. Both players have concluded their visits and according to Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com there is “nothing expected in the way of signings today.”

Buffalo most likely showed interest in Roberts due to his ability to handle kick and punt returns. The team had hoped that Dri Archer could compete for this role after claiming him off of waivers, but Archer never reported to Buffalo. In the last two seasons, Roberts has 28 punt returns for 208 yards and 37 kick returns for 941 yards and a touchdown. The receiver could have also competed for Buffalo No. 3 wide receiver job.

Lattimore, on the other hand, would have added depth to Buffalo’s linebacker corps while playing on special teams.

Although neither player agreed to terms with the Bills today, both could still wind up with Buffalo.
