Players Missing Highlight Monday's Practice

After an off day the Bills returned to practice this morning at St John Fisher in Pittsford, NY. There wasn't much to note except for the notable exception of some players from practice.

Heading those missing from camp was recent signee Ainsley Battles who left camp. Battles, a three year veteran, signed with the Bills on July 29th. His signing came on the heels of the surprised retirement of Chad Cota. Head coach Gregg Williams seemed to indicate the Bills won't bring in another safety because Scott Turner has seen work at both corner and safety during camp.

Aaron Schobel was also absent from camp for the day for personal reasons but expected back at camp tomorrow.

LB Anthony Denman has still yet to report to camp.

Also those not on the practice field but because of injury reasons were tight ends Ryan Neufeld and Dave Moore, offensive lineman Mike Pucillo, linebacker Angelo Crowell and wide receiver Charles Johnson.

The Bills once again wll hold a morning practice tomorrow. Those that are expected to sign autographs afterwards are Mike Houghton, Mike Pucillo, Trey Teague, Mike Williams. The team will also hold an afternoon practice that will be closed to the public.

The Bills also announced that they will hold another late night practice next Monday. Sales went on sale for the practice this morning but it is believed that it has already sold out.
