Buffalo Bills sign Leger Douzable

Douzable has played under Rex Ryan.

"Another former New York Jets player?"

That seems to be the response Buffalo Bills fans have when Rex Ryan has former players come in on free agent visits, so we're just getting it out of the way now.

On Monday, the Buffalo Bills signed defensive lineman Leger Douzable.

Douzable, 30, is no stranger to Rex Ryan's defense. He has experience playing under Ryan from 2013-2014 with the Jets. His two seasons under Ryan were arguably his most productive in the league. Douzable accounted for 45 total tackles and four sacks as a reserve in the two seasons, 32 games, under Ryan. In Buffalo, Douzable will compete for a reserve role at defensive end in Buffalo's 3-4 defense.

In addition to playing his last three seasons with the Jets, Douzable has spent time with the New York Giants, St. Louis Rams, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
