Before They Were Buffalo Bills: Marcell Dareus

Marcell Dareus was dominant back in high school.

Can you imagine having to block Marcell Dareus? Some of the best offensive linemen in the NFL and the NCAA have tried and failed to block the Buffalo Bills defensive tackle without luck, so you can imagine how dominant Dareus was back in high school.

Dareus, a two-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro, played his high school football for Huffman High School in Birmingham, Alabama and as the footage above shows, Dareus was a man among boys back in high school. In his senior season, Dareus registered 117 tackles and 20 sacks and was recognized  as an ASWA All-State honorable mention.

The footage above comes from a game against Hewitt-Trussville High School. The first two plays alone from Dareus' highlights should leave you in awe. The first play shows Dareus rag dolling the ball carrier. The next play shows Dareus running down a receiver on a screen play. The other highlights from the clip above are just as entertaining. It's no surprise that Dareus was listed as a four-star recruit by
